It is possible to find some peace and tranquility in Bali, away from all the party crowd.

Ulun Danu Beratan Temple

I always wanted to take the photo of the temple on the lake at sunset. We took couple of hours to reach here from Ubud (That’s where we were staying), but when we reached, we saw that the weather was cloudy and not much of a sunset to speak about. I took a photo nevertheless and then spent hours on lightroom to recreate what i had imagined the sunset to be!

Locals praying at a temple

Unfortunately if you are not a local and appropriately dressed in their traditional attire, you are not allowed to enter the main complex of a temple. It is reserved only people who have come for praying and not tourist.. maybe its a good thing…

Some lovely sunrise

It is always rewarding to wake up early and watch the sunrise… so peaceful! I though i would be alone on the beach, but saw a couple in the distance collecting sea shells.

This was a beach at Nusa Dua. The entire strip of the breach is lined with big resorts with private beach. Nice to splurge once in a while.
